Woodroffe High School marked its 50th anniversary with a reunion held at the school on May 28 and 29, 2010. The volunteer organizing committee worked hard to locate former students and staff.

The committee put its heart and soul into organizing an action-packed weekend. A broad range of activities were planned that prepared for up to 5,000 grads taking a walk down memory lane. These included a Blast from the Past pub night on May 28, a dinner/dance on May 29, decade theme rooms, a coffee house, sports events, an alumni band rehearsal and a showcase of entertainment on the Tiger Talent Stage. “Planning an event of this size was an incredible undertaking”, says Trish Morgan, a retired teacher and a member of the reunion organizing committee.
